Since taking office, Mayor Wilson has solidified Roswell’s status as the #1 livable city in the southeast and a top 5 livable city in America. Under his leadership, Roswell has invested over $180 million in key infrastructure projects, public safety services, parks and recreational programs, city operations, and resident services.
Now, he is running for re-election to continue the success Roswell has enjoyed these past four years and continue the Roswell Renewal.

The Roswell Renewal
Strengthening Public Safety
- Passed a $52 million bond referendum to fund critical public safety projects, including a centrally located Public Safety Center, 911 and Emergency Management Center, two new fire stations, and Roswell’s first mobile command center.
- Transitioned from a part-time to full-time fire operations with a $5.8 million investment in personnel, equipment, and training.
- Achieved top-tier pay for Police, Fire, and 911 personnel, resulting in a 0% vacancy rate among RPD sworn officers.
Strategic Economic Growth
- Defined four new economic development nodes and targeted industries to attract high-paying jobs and new public investment.
- Secured significant developments, including the $120 million Hill Street mixed-use project, and welcomed new employers such as PBS Aerospace (150 jobs), Fortune 500 companies Vestis Corporation (100 jobs), and CRH (310 jobs).
- Partnered with the United Soccer League to bring men’s and women’s Division 1 teams to a new sports and entertainment district in Roswell.
Investing in Infrastructure and Parks
- Led the successful launch of a $180 million bond referendum, allocating:
- $52 million for Public Safety.
- $20 million for parking infrastructure
- $108 million for parks and recreation, including a 20-acre acquisition for Roswell Park (former Crabapple Middle School), the historic assets Holly Hill Home and the original Roswell Methodist Church, and the execution of the Founders Park and River Master Parks Plans.
- Advanced significant transportation improvements, including the $80 million Big Creek Parkway with its new east west bridge at GA400, the Oxbo Road intersection project, a doubled paving budget to ($4M/year), and the commitment of $20 million for bike and trail systems to ease congestion and improve connectivity.
Driving Government Reform
- Reorganized senior leadership with a business approach by appointing a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, enhancing operational efficiency and financial transparency.
- Improved communications and accountability through a new Resident and Business Services team, regular financial and operations reports, and public dashboards for capital projects.
